Frequently asked questions about equipment hire
What equipment do you offer?
Four families: earthworks with a compact mini-digger, compaction with a reversible plate compactor, power with a 6 kVA generator, and work at height with a 6-metre mobile scaffold tower.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, or you can collect from the depot. Delivery to site is charged separately, and the address or access details are asked for at booking.
Do operators need a certificate of competence?
Where the machine calls for one, the hirer warrants that the operators hold it, as the terms provide. Instructions for use are handed over with the machine.
Who deals with a breakdown?
Only the hire company may have repairs carried out, and it is bound to use its best efforts: once told, it fixes, repairs or supplies a replacement as quickly as it reasonably can.
What is the minimum hire?
One day. The total is worked out on the number of days chosen and shown before payment, delivery excluded.
Is a deposit required?
An indicative security deposit appears on every listing. In this demonstration it is never charged.
